I know I haven’t posted much recently, but I have been busy these past months expanding my skills. I have built some website templates (which you can view HERE) and have just finished my first android app! Woo hoo! 🙂 I never thought I would make an android app, and it is incredibly exciting to see something you created out there for people to play.
It is a dress up game for girls (think of dressing up barbie) and you can choose from various outfits, tops, bottoms, accessories, and backgrounds. However, it is not like any other dress up game- taking dress up games to a whole new level a RGB color slider was added to customize your girl/avatar even more!
For me this was a huge learning experience. As the lead designer for this game it was my job to create the graphics and make them as unique and real looking as possible. As a web designer and developer I have proficient knowledge in the Adobe Suite- but am happy to say I have upgraded to expert level in Illustrator! I learned so many new techniques (creating clothing, shoes, backgrounds, etc- all from scratch)! I definitely am planning to use Illustrator more because I know there is still so much for me to learn!
